How health and wellness coaching works

Together, we’re going to:

  1. Explore which health and wellness goals will allow you to tend to the things you yearn for. 

  2. Create your optimal solutions to reach your goals and dreams.

  3. Choose the most practical steps to reach your goals and monitor your progress.

Through health and wellness coaching, you’ll:

  • Get more clarity and insights into the life you want for yourself

  • Increase your energy through creating healthy habits

  • Build momentum so you can achieve the life you want

We’re going to uncover your coping mechanisms for managing discomfort. They might have been helpful at some point in your life, but they’re no longer serving you. Through our conversations, you’ll learn about those tightly-held beliefs and default behaviors that are preventing you from reaching your full potential. With that knowledge, you can better align your actions with your goals.

I’m here to guide and support you so you can implement changes in the most efficient and effective way possible. We’ll move at your own pace, based on your circumstances and life priorities.

As a trained somatic coach, I’m also skilled to invite you to access all aspects of your intelligence—intellectual, emotional, and physical. Somatic means “relating to the body, especially as distinct from the mind.” Our stories—childhood memories, beliefs, traumas—are stored in our bodies. Somatic coaching is a unique coaching style that connects you to your body and the different systems that govern it. During a somatic coaching session:

  • You become an observer of what you’re experiencing naturally: the narratives that run through your head, your emotions, and bodily sensations

  • From there, you uncover the struggles and challenges that prevent you from living the life you really want

  • Tapping into the insights, learnings, and wisdom that you gained, you find ways to use your body as an ally to transform your experiences and integrate the change process in both your mind and body

Our mind and body are not two separate entities: Somatic coaching allows you to really step into how you want to show up in this world intellectually, emotionally, and physically.

How do we work together?

  • Book a complimentary session here

  • A session lasts 60 minutes and can be via Zoom, Skype, or telephone

  • For optimal results, session occurs every 2 weeks for at least 3 months

  • Coaching sessions are available in either English or French
