WELLNESS @ WORK
An Individual and Group Coaching Program
To Help Your Employees and Your Business Thrive
With Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach Caroline Goodwill
Are you struggling to lead in this post-pandemic landscape?
Is your workforce affected by increased levels of stress and anxiety?
Do you wish to invest in employee wellness, growth, and development?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, I can help you and your organization.
As we continue to deal with the fallout of COVID-19, your employees are seeking ways to be healthier, create a work-life balance, and engage in impactful and purpose-driven work. There is an increasing expectation for companies to support their employees' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
You, as a leader of an organization, have the opportunity to offer a workplace that meets both business and wellness needs.
As a Health & Wellness Coach, my goal is to help your employees thrive. Happy employees are more engaged and productive at work, and as a result, experience a greater sense of well-being. Not only do happy and healthy employees produce more meaningful interactions with their colleagues, they can also make your business more profitable and desirable to new talent.
Wellness is best captured in this definition by the University of California, Davis:
“Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness; it is a dynamic process of change and growth. It is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
How can wellness coaching benefit your employees?
It helps people develop habits and implement tools to support their health goals around their physical, behavioral, and emotional well-being
Through our coaching sessions, clients (re)discover their passions and how to cultivate them. They also create awareness around what motivates them to make changes and stick to them
In the context of group coaching, individuals get to connect and share with other employees and have meaningful conversations
What are the benefits of wellness coaching for your organization?
As employees feel supported, needed, and valued, they’re more likely to do exceptional work and contribute to your company’s vision, which in turn benefits your organization
It fosters a culture of well-being and a sustainable working pace where employees can leverage their strengths, cultivate their talents, and positively impact others in the organization
By giving employees an opportunity to tend to their body and mind through a wellness program, they will increase their creativity and problem-solving abilities
Prioritizing employee well-being can reduce burnout, properly address the wants and needs of your employees, and increase engagement at work.
What do my coaching services include?
This is the most personalized approach to coaching where clients have the opportunity to work on their specific wellness goals. It offers a completely client-led approach that facilitates personal and professional growth for anyone in the company who wants to show up as a better leader and a more authentic individual.
#2 Group Coaching on specific topics:
I offer customized programs that fit your business needs. Group coaching offers a collaborative environment where a group of employees, not necessarily from the same team or working together daily, are brought together for a specific purpose. Employees have reported feeling more connected after participating in a group coaching program, which in turn makes them happier, less conflictual, and more efficient at work. Group coaching programs that I’ve offered in the past include:
Creating Healthy Habits for Lasting Change
Balancing Family & Work Life: How to feel fulfilled and engaged in all areas of your life
Warding off Burnout: What stress and anxiety are telling you
#3 Wellness initiatives:
In the context of your workplace culture, I will work with you to identify and implement well-being initiatives that will strengthen your commitment to healthy and happy employees. First, we assess where you are right now and decide where you would like to go. The goal is to create opportunities for them to pause, refresh, and re-engage, and to increase their engagement and reduce burnout. Examples of well-being initiatives: Ways to combine work activities with leisure, social, or fitness activities; A wellness brown bag lunch program; Mindfulness programs.
Together, we will make a commitment and a plan to create a culture of health and well-being in your organization.
Why work with me?
Before becoming a coach, I had a career as a software engineer and marketing manager in Silicon Valley. My professional experience–collaborating with engineers and people with time constraints–combined with my strong coaching skills make me a natural ally to your wellness program.
I graduated from the 12-month coach training program at the Kresser Institute and earned the ADAPT Functional Health Coach certification. I then completed the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) certification, a comprehensive credential that includes training, education, and an exam administered in collaboration with the National Board of Medical Examiners.
The coaching tools that I use include:
Motivational interviewing: An evidence-based approach that helps clients link their desired behavioral changes to their deepest needs and most important goals
Nonviolent Communication: A way for clients to learn about their own deeper needs and those of others, which in turn increases their ability to deepen their empathy towards what others might be going through and enhance their work relationships
Somatic Coaching: An approach that invites clients to tap into the wisdom of their body and move toward aligning their body and mind
Wellness @ Work is not an optional benefit to attract and retain talent: it’s now an essential benefit. Embracing and committing to coaching can lead your organization to experience transformational success. Please email me to inquire further about Wellness @ Work.
